Job Description:

Join ThedaCare Waupaca as an ER/ICU Float RN on a 13-week contract, working 12-hour night shifts. This role offers the chance to experience a diverse clinical setting, floating between ER and ICU units, caring for a variety of critically ill patients on an 8-bed unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. The assignment involves coordinating with a team that handles both patient loads comfortably, so adaptability is key. Expect to deliver urgent and critical care, complete charting in Epic from the past year, and meet certification requirements—including WI RN licensure, AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced ER RNs with at least 3 years of clinical practice and 2+ years specifically in emergency settings, who thrive in a fast-paced, rotating schedule that includes every other weekend and holiday shifts.
