Job Description:

This ER Registered Nurse contract offers a chance to work in a fast-paced emergency department, handling telemetry monitoring and medication administration during 12-hour mid shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM. You'll need at least 1.5 years of ER experience, with an ability to read telemetry data confidently. Familiarity with EPIC is preferred, along with current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. The role involves a quick start around August 26th, with a focus on efficient patient assessment and collaboration with the ED team. Flexibility around shift start times is occasionally required for urgent staffing needs. The assignment’s unique aspect is the opportunity to work a 36-hour weekly commitment over 26 weeks, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Prioritize minimal RTO and contracts of 26 weeks when applying, and be prepared for initial exams including medication and telemetry assessments, which are pass/fail and critical for continuation.
