Job Description:

Join Cleveland Clinic's Step Down unit as a Registered Nurse on a 20-week assignment that offers a blend of rewarding patient interactions and professional growth. You'll work in a hospital setting that occasionally requires floating to nearby units like J1-2, J33, and the ED, providing care for a similar patient population. The role features 12-hour rotating shifts, primarily from 7am-7:30pm and 7pm-7:30am, giving some variation to your schedule. This position is perfect for those with at least 18 months of recent step-down experience, including travel assignments, and a valid Ohio or Compact state license. Certified in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, you'll be tested on ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate during orientation to ensure preparedness. Expect to work at least every other holiday, immersing yourself in a critical, fast-paced environment that keeps you engaged and evolving as a healthcare professional.
