Job Description:

Join a renowned neuro stepdown unit in Omaha, Nebraska, for a 13-week contract as a Stepdown Neuro Registered Nurse. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) on a unit that specializes in neurological and neurosurgical care. Travelers will care for patients with conditions such as strokes, aneurysms, seizures, spinal fusions, and tumors, often with patients needing EEG monitoring. Expect to float within scope to various units, including Neuro, Telemetry, and Medical Surgical floors, caring for up to six Med Surg patients or 3-4 stepdown patients at a time. The position demands prior experience in a large urban hospital with proficiency in EPIC charting and drips management. Applicants should be prepared for a fast-paced environment with specialized neurological care, and first-time travelers are considered only with prior large hospital experience.
