Job Description:

This Medical Surgical Registered Nurse position in Albuquerque offers an engaging opportunity to work on a neuro-focused Med Surg unit. You'll be scheduled for 12-hour day shifts, with the option to extend hours over 48 in a week—just watch out for overtime if you go beyond that. The role includes responsibilities like rapid response team activation, and you'll be using Epic charting to document patient care. You'll enjoy a manageable nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 and will float to similar units as needed, primarily during weekends. Prior experience, BLS, NIHSS (pending okay), and CPI are preferred, making this a great environment for both seasoned travelers and first-timers craving diverse experience in a supportive setting.
