Job Description:

Join our team as an ICU Registered Nurse in a specialized Neuro ICU setting, where you'll focus on adult and geriatric patients experiencing critical neurological conditions. This 13-week assignment involves night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with an average of 36 hours per week. You will be providing care to patients with diagnoses such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, and post-craniotomy recovery, utilizing advanced equipment like ICP monitors, external ventricular drains, and continuous EEG. The role offers a unique opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment, floating within the neuro ICU to support lower acuity beds as needed, all while maintaining a supportive, collaborative team atmosphere. Candidates should be comfortable with every other weekend and scheduled holiday work, and possess strong neuro ICU skills and experience. A Maryland RN license, BLS, and ACLS are required, with preferred certifications in CPI and NIHSS. This assignment promises an engaging, challenging experience in a specialized ICU setting.
