Job Description:

Join a dedicated Med Surg / Ortho unit in Council Bluffs, Iowa, for a 13-week travel nursing assignment working 12-hour night shifts. As an RN, you'll be responsible for managing a diverse patient population, including post-surgical patients, those with COPD, diabetes, wounds, and other acute conditions. This role involves participating in hourly rounding, bedside shift reports, and adapting to unit-specific protocols. Candidates must pass a pass/fail exam during orientation, using provided resources, with a strict 90% passing score. The position offers a fast-paced environment where flexibility and self-direction are valued, and you will work alongside nurse aides and monitor techs to ensure quality patient care. Please note on the first week you'll undergo classroom training followed by on-unit orientation.
