Job Description:

Join a busy and vibrant Preop/PACU unit where you'll support a variety of surgical cases, including general, breast, ortho, urology, and OBGYN. This role involves preparing patients for surgery, managing airways, providing post-anesthesia recovery, and assisting with patient turnover. You'll experience the unique challenge of working across all phases—preop, Phase 1, and Phase 2—requiring flexibility to transition between different responsibilities throughout your shift. Attention to detail and the ability to read EKG strips are essential, as is a willingness to support all areas of the unit daily. The unit emphasizes teamwork, with staff assisting in restocking and maintaining a smooth flow between patients, fostering a supportive and family-oriented environment.
