Job Description:

Join a bustling operating room team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) in Anchorage, Alaska. This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to provide specialized perioperative care during 12-hour day shifts, either from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM or 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM. You'll be working in a Level II Trauma, Magnet-designated hospital with 407 beds, ensuring a professional setting that supports complex surgical procedures. This assignment requires a minimum of two years of experience, with certifications in BLS and preferred certifications in ACLS and CNOR. While on-call duties are limited to covering for call-offs, the role emphasizes teamwork within a fast-paced surgical environment. You'll be expected to float within your scope to like units if needed, and scheduling accommodations are limited. Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility and have their license in hand for the auto-offer process. Expect a consistent schedule with guaranteed 60 hours every two weeks and the potential for minimal call coverage. This role promises a rewarding experience supporting complex surgical cases in a recognized hospital committed to excellence.
