Job Description:

Join The Johns Hopkins Hospital - Bloomberg Children’s Center as a Pediatric ICU RN, where every day offers a new challenge in caring for young patients from newborns to 21-year-olds. This 13-week contract features 12-hour day shifts, providing a chance to develop specialized skills in a renowned pediatric cardiac intensive care unit. You'll be managing complex medical conditions like respiratory failure, metabolic disorders, and multiorgan failure, often involving advanced interventions such as ECMO and ventricular assist devices. With a nurse-to-patient ratio of either 2:1 or 1:1, you'll need to be prepared for high-acuity cases requiring continuous infusions, intermittent medications, and various advanced therapies. This assignment is perfect for experienced critical care professionals eager to deepen their expertise within a vibrant, innovative environment that handles a range of surgical procedures, including transplants and thoracic surgeries.
