Job Description:

This perioperative nursing contract offers a hands-on experience in a Level 1 trauma center. You will scrub or circulate neuro, ortho, and trauma cases in a busy operating room setting, managing approximately 75 cases daily. The role involves working 12-hour day shifts on weekends with rotating call commitments, including both 8-hour week shifts and weekend rotations. Ideal candidates have prior travel experience and basic trauma center skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to a fast-paced surgical environment. While scrubbing is not mandatory, it is considered a bonus. Expect to collaborate with charge nurses on each shift and utilize EPIC EMR for documentation. The position emphasizes flexibility in self-scheduling within reason and adherence to call and floating requirements. This assignment promises a dynamic surgical experience amidst the energy of a high-capacity OR team.
