Job Description:

This operating room RN contract offers a chance to rotate through various surgical specialties in a small, critical access hospital setting. You'll be circulating for ENT, general, gynecology, orthopedic, urology, pediatrics, and podiatry cases, with an emphasis on efficiency and versatility. The role requires quick adaptability as you'll float between different OR areas, including PACU and Pre/Post Op, while managing approximately 100 cases per month. Expect to work 8-hour days, with the possibility of transitioning to 4x10s depending on the OR schedule. The schedule includes about one weekend every three weeks and around 10 call shifts per month, often in pairs, with a minimum of 1-hour callback. The ideal candidate has a minimum of three years' experience in all OR areas, holds an active MO or compact license, and demonstrates proficiency with surgical equipment, emergency management, and infection control protocols. Certification in ACLS, BLS, and PALS is required, while CNOR is preferred.
