Job Description:

Join a specialized Neuro ICU unit in Fairfax as a Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract. This role involves managing neuro-critical care patients in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities such as monitoring neurological status, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The unit features 18 beds, with a patient ratio of 1:2 that can fluctuate based on patient acuity. Shifts are scheduled every other weekend and holiday, providing a rhythm that balances work and time off. You'll navigate the Epic electronic medical record system while adhering to uniform standards of navy blue or white scrubs. Be prepared to potentially float to the Neuro IMC unit if needed, and complete a thorough floor orientation.
