Job Description:

This 16-week traveling registered nurse position in the Medical-Surgical Oncology unit at a prominent Ohio hospital offers a unique chance to immerse yourself in caring for patients with complex needs such as chemotherapy, malignancies, and symptom management. The role involves tending to patients with continuous cardiac monitoring, managing infections, and preventing falls, all while working a 12-hour rotating shift that could include days, nights, or a mix of both. Experience in oncology is preferred but not required—your expertise in telemetry, port access, and IV management will shine in this fast-paced, high-acuity setting. Be prepared to float within your unit and apply your skills with advanced equipment like GE telemetry systems, Alaris pumps, and Stryker beds. Previous travel experience and proficiency with EPIC electronic health records are highly valued.
