Job Description:

This 13-week contract offers an engaging opportunity to work as a Medical and Pediatrics RN in Wausau, Wisconsin. The role involves 12-hour night shifts, primarily from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with responsibilities centered around providing skilled nursing care on the MAP unit. You’ll float to various inpatient units as needed, handling conditions such as respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological disorders, gastrointestinal issues, and other acute medical conditions. The position emphasizes independent decision-making, collaboration with team members, and resilience in managing changing situations—all while delivering quality patient outcomes. This assignment provides a chance to gain experience in trauma-level II settings, develop your charting skills using EPIC, and work a consistent schedule with every other weekend and holiday rotations. The guaranteed weekly hours are 48, with an average gross pay of approximately $2,070.67, reflecting a 36-hour commitment per week.
