Job Description:

This ICU Registered Nurse contract places you in a busy, 16-bed critical care unit within a 310-bed hospital in Middletown, Ohio. You’ll work 12-hour night shifts, providing specialized care for patients recovering from open heart surgeries such as CABG and valve procedures, as well as those with Impella, IABP, or requiring CRRT. Expect an environment where rapid interpretation of EKG strips, vent management, and sedation are part of your nightly routine. The role offers a unique opportunity to experience a Level III Trauma Center focused on family-centered care, with high-acuity cases like ischemic strokes, post-cardiac arrest hypothermia, and COVID-positive patients. Floating may be required across various units, including the high-risk respiratory and neuro units. The assignment runs for 13 weeks, with a 36-hour weekly commitment, and is ideal for experienced nurses comfortable working every other weekend and holiday.
