Job Description:

This travel assignment places you in the Maternal Fetal Medicine unit at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. You will work 12-hour night shifts for a duration of 13 weeks, providing specialized support in a high-risk obstetric setting that handles everything from vaginal deliveries to cesarean sections. Expect to collaborate with a team of experienced nurses and PCTs, and utilize advanced fetal monitoring technology such as Phillips electronic fetal monitors and Baxter Pumps. Your role involves managing patient care for high-risk pregnancies, performing procedures like D&C and cerclage, and ensuring smooth shifts in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a proactive, adaptable, and friendly personality, with an emphasis on effective teamwork and patient safety. Certifications including NRP, BLS/ALS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring are essential to qualify.
