Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract is for an experienced ER nurse looking to take on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule in Breckenridge, Minnesota. In this role, you'll provide critical support during busy shifts in an emergency department equipped to handle trauma level IV, STEMI, and stroke cases. Your responsibilities will include managing patients with a focus on trauma and stroke protocols, collaborating with ED physicians and charge nurses, and performing lab draws and strip reads. Previous MedSurg experience combined with a minimum of two years in ER is required. This assignment offers a unique chance to work in a facility with intermingled ER holds, trauma bays, and a dedicated stroke and STEMI receiving designation, all while enjoying the thrill of fast-paced emergency care.
