Job Description:

This IMCU contract offers an engaging opportunity to work in a 64-bed unit specializing in neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory cases. You'll be responsible for managing patients with diagnoses like COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, and post-op recovery, utilizing specialty equipment such as temp pacers, chest tubes, A-lines, Bipap, and Neptune Vapo Vents. The shift runs from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm on a 12-hour day schedule. You will float as needed across the unit, providing critical support in an active environment where quick thinking and adaptability are essential. This assignment is perfect for experienced ICU nurses looking to deepen their expertise in a fast-paced setting with varied complex cases.
