Job Description:

This travel healthcare assignment offers a stimulating 12-hour day shift role with an emphasis on acute care procedures requiring a minimum of one year of experience and prior travel assignments. The position involves working within a 75-mile radius from your driver’s license location, with specific certifications such as BLS and NIHSS (both AHA) required. You'll be floating across various units, including medical and cardiac care, and may be assigned to all acute care and cardio units, providing versatility in your skill set. The environment offers a balanced schedule with every other weekend and holiday shifts as needed, in an organized setting that values preparedness and adaptability. Expect a week's orientation, including EMR training, with additional floor-specific guidance to ensure a smooth transition into your role. All shifts are 12 hours, and the hospital staffing ratio ranges from 1:5 to possibly 1:6, while nurses and CNA's work in well-defined team settings. Scrubs are preferred in Caribbean Blue, and telemonitoring is in place on a different unit. The assignment combines the thrill of working in a busy hospital with the satisfaction of supporting diverse patient needs in a professional setting.
