Job Description:

Join a vibrant medical-surgical unit in Evansville, IN, for a 13-week travel contract as an MS RN. This role offers 12-hour daytime shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with a weekly guarantee of 36 hours. You’ll be supporting a unit with 41 beds, primarily caring for post-surgical patients, those with UTI, sepsis, COPD, CHF, and high fall risk. The work involves managing chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, straight catheters, Foleys, ostomies, Heparin drips, blood products, and tracheostomies, all requiring strong assessment and critical thinking skills. The assignment includes being the first to float within your skillset across two nearby campuses, with occasional cross-campus mid-shift float.
