Job Description:

Join a Neuro Med Surg unit as an RN on 12-hour nights (7p–7a) delivering care for a variety of medical and surgical neurosciences cases, including Parkinson’s and stroke (no trauma). This travel contract in Cape Girardeau, Missouri is designed for an RN who can step into charge responsibilities when needed—either through prior charge experience or a willingness to learn and take on charge duties. You’ll work with EPIC on the floor and support a team focused on safety, clear documentation, and coordinated handoffs.

Expect customary float opportunities to Med Surg and Progressive units, plus weekend coverage as needed (with every other full weekend being a standard expectation). Key onboarding requirements include BLS and NIH (NIH can be completed at orientation). Flu vaccination is required for travelers from November 1–April 1, with approved exemptions only.

Weather:

Expect a mix of mild and cool days with the potential for cooler evenings and some wet conditions. Overall, it’s a comfortable time to get outside between shifts.
