Job Description:

Join a prestigious Academic Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC, as a registered nurse on the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This 13-week contract offers a unique opportunity to work in a bustling Level 1 Trauma Center with a focus on cardiovascular care. You will supervise and respond to patients with conditions like acute coronary syndrome, heart failure, and arrhythmias, all while managing cardiac rhythms and titrating critical medications such as Diltiazem, Dopamine, and Insulin. Your role will involve interpreting cardiac rhythms, performing peripheral blood draws, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a family-oriented environment. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule, providing a calm and focused pace for delivering high-level cardiac care. This assignment is ideal for a RN with at least one year of cardiology experience who enjoys a mix of technical skill and patient interaction in a supportive setting.
