Job Description:

Join our team as a Telemetry/PCU Registered Nurse in Springfield, Illinois, for a 13-week contract offering a fulfilling 12-hour day shift schedule. This role involves managing patients in the IMC/Stepdown/PCU setting, with responsibilities including interpreting dysrhythmias, overseeing cardiac monitoring, assisting post-cardiac procedures, and providing IV therapy. If you enjoy a balanced workload and the opportunity to practice within a specialized unit, this position offers a chance to work alongside experienced staff in a Level I trauma center, with the flexibility of either 3x12 or 4x12 shifts. Active Illinois licensure and at least one year of recent relevant experience are required, along with BLS and NIH certifications, and ACLS is preferred. Be prepared to float within scope and work every other weekend. This assignment provides a chance to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while enjoying a well-organized schedule and competitive weekly gross earnings of approximately $1,924.83.
