Job Description:

Join a hospital unit specializing in intermediate care and recovery for patients post-surgery or with complex medical needs. This 26-week contract offers you the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, 12-hour night shift setting, providing hands-on support with IVs, drains, Ostomies, wound vacs, NG tubes, and Foley catheters. Use your skills with electronic health records and titrate drips such as Heparin, insulin, diltiazem, or amiodarone. The role is perfect for nurses comfortable with telemetry monitoring and working alongside tech staff who monitor rhythms and call concerns. You'll operate within a team that includes nurse aides and charge nurses, with opportunities to float to other med/surg units when needed. Experience with Tracheostomies, VAPOtherm, or CPAP equipment is desirable. This assignment promises engaging work while offering a structured orientation—12 hours of computer training plus 12 hours of shadowing—to get you set up for success.
