Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers an engaging opportunity to work in an active Emergency Department with 26 beds and 3 trauma bays. As part of the team, you will manage patients with conditions like abdominal pain, altered mental status, chest pain, and strokes, across a diverse age range from pediatrics to geriatrics. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule, giving you a chance to experience the hospital's nocturnal rhythm while providing vital support during busy hours. The role involves performing IV insertions, interpreting EKG rhythms, assisting with breathing treatments and intubations, and supporting RT staff in respiratory care. Expect to be immersed in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is essential, with the chance to develop your expertise in a high-volume ER setting. What makes this assignment unique is the intermingled ER holds, a designated lower ligature risk psych room, and 24/7 security presence outside the department. You’ll be part of a close-knit team that values punctuality and commitment, with the opportunity to work with experienced MDs, DOs, PAs, and NPs, while gaining experience in both patient stabilization and emergency procedures.
