Job Description:

Join our ICU team at HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge in Thornton, Colorado, for a 13-week travel contract as an RN specializing in critical care. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a newly expanded ICU unit that includes two pods with a combined 28 beds. You'll be providing care on the night shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM), primarily managing ventilated patients, trauma cases, neuro surgical patients, and more. Expect a patient ratio typically around 1:2, but adaptable based on patient acuity. You’ll use state-of-the-art equipment like GE bedside monitors, Pyxis, and Plum Pump IVs, while collaborating with experienced intensivists committed to teaching and respectful communication. This role is perfect for nurses with at least one year of current ICU experience seeking to enhance their skills across a variety of complex cases in a supportive environment that values flexibility and teamwork.
