Job Description:

Join our team as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a 12-hour night shift assignment in Charlottesville, VA. You'll play a vital role in supporting expectant mothers through delivery and postpartum care, with the opportunity to cross-train into Mother/Baby units and potentially float to NICU. This assignment offers a chance to experience a busy maternity department with approximately 2,000 deliveries annually, housed in private labor rooms, triage beds, and OB operating rooms. The schedule includes working two out of three winter holidays every other weekend, giving you a balanced work and personal life. Expect to be responsible for assisting in both low and high-risk deliveries, utilizing skills such as fetal monitoring, neonatal resuscitation, and maternal care procedures. The role provides a fulfilling challenge for nurses eager to deepen their expertise in obstetrics, with a flexible longer-term option extending through 01/02/2027.
