Job Description:

This emergency department RN role offers a fast-paced environment where you'll manage a diverse range of urgent patient situations such as trauma, stroke, sepsis, CHF, and cardiac events. Operating in a 24-bed ER with three trauma bays, you'll work 12-hour night shifts for a duration of 13 weeks, providing critical care during the key overnight hours. The position involves self-scheduling and requires the ability to coordinate patient care in a setting where ER holds are intermingled with the main ER. Expect to collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, charge nurses, and support staff to deliver timely interventions. The unique aspect of this assignment lies in its variety of patient acuity and the autonomy in managing your shift within an interprofessional team, all while contributing to a high-volume emergency department.
