Job Description:

Join a renowned Medical Surgical Neurosurgery unit in St. Louis as a Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract. You will be working 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, providing care for cranial and spinal surgery patients, including pre- and post-operative management. This role offers an engaging experience in a Magnet and Level I Trauma Center, where you'll handle patients with lumbar and surgical drains, excluding drips that require titration (except Heparin). The position involves every other weekend shifts and requires certifications such as ACLS, BCLS, and NIH. Travel nurses will appreciate the support with parking, and the busy unit promises a rewarding, specialized workload focused on neuro cases without the need to manage ventilator drips or arterial lines.
