Job Description:

This contract position places you in the bustling Emergency Department of a respected Level 2 trauma center. You will be the go-to RN or LPN, managing a diverse caseload that includes trauma, stroke, pediatric critical care, and sexual assault evidence collection. Expect to care for neonates through geriatrics, navigating everything from minor injuries to major traumas, with an emphasis on fast-paced decision making and prioritization. The role involves working variable shifts, including days, evenings, and overnights, with opportunities to float within scope to inpatient units and assist with ED-specific tasks. Be prepared for a supportive environment that values critical thinking, quick adaptation, and teamwork. Remember—this ED keeps a busy trauma bay and handles heavy volume, especially during peak periods, so a calm, confident approach is essential.
