Job Description:

This orthopedic technician role places you in a dedicated outpatient surgical setting, where you'll support operating room suites with a focus on orthopedics, podiatry, pain management, breast, GYN, general surgery, and occasional urology cases. The position involves assisting with approximately 3 to 4 cases daily, working alongside clinical staff to prepare and maintain surgical instruments and supplies. The shift is scheduled for 10 hours each day, Monday through Friday, typically from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Variable days off and call requirements add a layer of flexibility, with minimum call duties including four weekdays, one Friday, and one weekend every six weeks, plus extra calls during holidays. This assignment offers hands-on involvement in a professional surgical environment and opportunities to refine OR technical skills in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
