Job Description:

Join a Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool as a Registered Nurse, where you'll navigate a variety of pediatric units—including PICU, NICU, peds medsurg, peds PACU, peds ED boarders, and postpartum/mother-baby. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain diverse experience by floating between units, providing specialized care to some of the most vulnerable pediatric patients. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate care during 12-hour day shifts, engaging with children from newborns to adolescents, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams. The role emphasizes adaptability and clinical expertise in PICU and NICU environments, while adhering to hospital policies and protocols. Clinical review and auto-offers are part of the process, and longer assignments are available through early 2027. Expect to work every other weekend and two out of three winter holidays, with some flexibility for time off after initial weeks. Ensuring compliance with required certifications such as BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS is essential, along with having at least two years of PICU experience and PICU/NICU float pool familiarity.
