Job Description:

This Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse role offers an engaging opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. The position involves providing specialized care during deliveries, functioning as a baby nurse from initial assessment through transfer to postpartum care. The assignment includes working every other weekend and holidays, with a schedule of 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM for a duration of 26 weeks. Candidates will also float to related units supporting antepartum and postpartum care, supporting a diverse patient population with high-risk pregnancies and deliveries. This contract emphasizes technical proficiency in electronic fetal monitoring, maternal care procedures, and newborn assessments, offering a comprehensive experience in high-volume obstetric services.
