Job Description:

Join our team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse specializing in transplant surgeries in Indianapolis. This 13-week travel contract is uniquely focused on abdominal transplants, including kidney, liver, pancreas, and intestinal/multi-visceral procedures. You'll work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with weekends preferred, performing exciting multi-specialty surgeries in a facility that exclusively handles complex transplant cases. The role involves assisting with transplant-specific charting using Cerner, call responsibilities totaling 40-60 hours over six weeks, and floating within transplant and multi-surgical procedures. Previous transplant experience, particularly with kidney and liver, is required, and candidates must hold current Indiana, temporary, or compact nursing licenses. This assignment offers a chance to work in a hospital that provides a specialized environment dedicated solely to abdominal transplant surgeries, without direct patient care duties relating to pediatric transplants or long-term care.
