Job Description:

Join a specialized oncology unit as a Registered Nurse on a 13-week travel contract in New Orleans, LA. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM to 7:15 AM) within a 7-bed unit focused on hematology, medical oncology, bone marrow transplant, and gynecologic & surgical oncology. You will be responsible for bedside CVC placements, bone marrow biopsies, and managing patients using advanced equipment like Epic-integrated Alaris IV pumps and barcode medication systems. The position also includes float coverage and weekend responsibilities, with an opportunity to experience a tight-knit, patient-focused environment that welcomes first-time travelers.
