Job Description:

This RN position in the Behavioral Health unit at Haywood Regional Medical Center offers a focused and fast-paced environment specializing in adult and geriatric psychiatric care. As part of a team dedicated to managing conditions such as MDD, Bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia, you will work 12-hour night shifts over a 13-week contract. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patient status with Dynamap equipment, utilizing the Paragon EHR system, and providing compassionate support to patients within a 33-bed unit. The role is ideal for nurses with at least one year of psychiatric experience, holding an active RN license and BLS certification. With a guaranteed 36 hours weekly, this assignment provides a rewarding opportunity to make a difference while working alongside a skilled team led by Supervisor Kristin Neel. Expect a structured orientation every two weeks to help you settle into the facility and role smoothly.
