Job Description:

Join this engaging 13-week contract as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Cedartown, GA, working Monday through Friday, 8-hour days. You'll be supporting a 25-bed facility classified as a Level IV Trauma Center and Chest Pain Center. Your primary focus will be assisting patients with conditions such as COPD, CHF, hip fractures, total joint replacements, strokes, and neurological disorders, most of whom are geriatric. This role involves performing transfer training, gait training, discharge planning, and therapeutic exercises, all while collaborating closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals in a team-oriented environment. Expect to work with advanced equipment like Hoyer lifts, motorized therapy towers, and EMR systems such as EPIC.
