Job Description:

Join a prominent Level-II Trauma Center in Newport News, VA, as a CVOR Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract. In this role, you'll provide high-level support in a busy surgical environment, specializing in cardiothoracic, vascular, and thoracic procedures. While your primary focus will be circulating across core service lines, skills in scrubbing are a bonus but not required. Expect to work three 12-hour day shifts weekly, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, gaining hands-on experience with a variety of complex surgeries. This assignment offers a unique chance to develop expertise in a multi-service setting with a dedicated team of surgeons, all while working in a facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology and EMR systems like EPIC.
