Job Description:

Seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract in Thomasville, Georgia. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts, primarily from 07:00 to 19:00, with the possibility of extension. As a MedSurg RN, you'll be responsible for providing patient assessments, administering medications, and coordinating care within a fast-paced hospital setting. The assignment offers a unique chance to develop expertise in general MedSurg procedures while experiencing life in a welcoming Southern community. Candidates should be comfortable floating between units and adhering to a schedule that includes every-other-week work. Minimal to no RTO is expected, so availability during this period is essential. Required certifications include BLS, with ACLS preferred. Previous travel experience and at least two years of recent MedSurg experience are highly valued. EMR documentation is managed via Soarian, and royal blue scrubs are mandatory (not supplied). Candidates must submit references, skills checklist, an updated NURSYS report, a valid driver’s license, and Qualivis form. Eligibility is determined by distance from the hospital, with consideration for those within 50 miles—though travel stipulations may affect hourly rate.
