Job Description:

Join a dedicated Medical Surgical Nursing team in Kerrville, Texas, for an engaging 13-week contract. This role involves providing compassionate and skilled care to patients on a busy unit that values teamwork and a positive culture. You'll work the night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a 36-hour weekly commitment, floating to the 2W, CDU, and ARU units as needed. Experience in med/surg and short stay units, along with telemetry, is preferred, and first-time travelers are welcome based on background. Certification in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required to qualify for this assignment. The unit maintains patient ratios of 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night, with care involving a variety of patient needs across a supportive environment. Expect to work 2 out of 3 major holidays during this assignment, making it a perfect balance of professional experience and personal time.
