Job Description:

Join a behavioral health team as a Registered Nurse in Fayetteville, North Carolina, for a 13-week contract focusing on mental health support within a short-term acute care hospital. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, providing critical care on a unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of approximately 1:5 to 1:6. The candidate will need to complete an EKG exam prior to start and hold BLS certification. Experience in medical-surgical or telehealth units and at least two years of relevant experience are preferred. You’ll be expected to float within the behavioral health scope and accommodate block scheduling if needed. Travelers must be available to work every other weekend, with a weekly commitment of 48 hours, ensuring a steady rhythm to your schedule. A flexible return staff policy applies, with restrictions on contract extensions and re-entry after a year or more away.
