Job Description:

Join a specialized cardiac telemetry unit as a Registered Nurse dedicated to adult and geriatric patients. In this role, you'll work four 12-hour night shifts weekly, managing complex cardiac drips, arrhythmias, and post-cardiac catheter care. The position demands experience with IV medications such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, and others, along with ACLS and BLS certifications. You'll be floating within a comprehensive scope of care that includes arrhythmia management, chest pain, pulmonary, renal, and surgical cases. This environment offers varied patient cases—providing a chance to challenge your skills in a professional, collaborative setting with a manageable ratio of 1:5-6. Expect to work with Epic or Pyxis systems, and adhere to the navy scrub color code. Holidays may require work, and call response times are usually within 2 hours. Travel experience and prior use of IV medications are essential to start promptly without delays.
