Job Description:

Join Aspirus Wausau Hospital as a Cardiac Telemetry/Step Down RN for a 13-week contract on the night shift. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a fast-paced intermediate cardiac step-down unit, caring for patients recovering from cardiac surgeries, arrhythmias, and other cardiovascular conditions. You will float to all inpatient units as needed and work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am. This position offers an opportunity to apply your strong cardiac experience in a setting that handles post-op cardiac patients, thoracotomies, vascular cases, and more. The assignment is unique due to the unit’s high patient turnover, rapid pace, and the chance to be part of a dedicated team managing complex cardiac cases with a patient ratio of approximately 1:4.
