Job Description:

Join our team as a phlebotomist specializing in pediatric and adult blood collection at a busy hospital laboratory. This 13-week contract involves night shifts on a consistent Thursday through Sunday schedule, from 8:30 p.m. to 7 a.m., within a main campus setting. You’ll be responsible for drawing blood from patients of all ages, including infants, children, and seniors, with an emphasis on accuracy and safety. Experience with Meditech and Mobilab systems is required, alongside phlebotomy certification and a minimum of three years of relevant experience. The role offers a chance to perform mobile blood draws at nursing homes, patient homes, and satellite clinics, providing a variety of work situations. Attention to detail in specimen handling, documentation, and departmental cooperation will be key to success.
