Job Description:

Join a bustling laboratory team in New Orleans as a Medical Lab Technician specializing in hematopoietic progenitor cell processing. This 13-week contract offers an engaging opportunity to work within the Blood Bank unit, performing complex procedures such as irradiation, splitting blood products, and plasma reduction on plateletpheresis devices. The role requires hands-on expertise in HPC processing, inventory management, and equipment troubleshooting. You'll work during evening shifts, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays, contributing to vital blood product preparation in a fast-paced, professional setting.
