Job Description:

This is a blood bank technologist contract position in Victoria, Texas, with a focus on advanced Chem and Hematology work. The role involves working 10-hour night shifts (7p-7a on weekends and 9p-7a on weekdays) on a 7-on, 7-off rotation. The technologist will perform extensive blood bank procedures, including antibody workups, crossmatching, and compatibility testing, all within a laboratory setting. Floating to other areas in the facility may be required, and the position offers an engaging opportunity to apply your expertise in a fast-paced environment. Travelers should be prepared to include start dates, RTO, and holiday rotation details in their submissions. The role emphasizes thorough technical skills and experience with blood bank instrumentation and testing methodologies.
