Job Description:

This pediatric emergency room RN contract offers a chance to work in a renowned Level I Trauma Children's Hospital, where you'll be on the night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) for 12-hour shifts over 18 weeks. The role involves caring for pediatric patients in a high-volume ED, including performing pediatric dosages, starting IVs, interpreting 12-lead EKGs, and managing cardiac dysrhythmias. You will work with a 1:4 ratio during regular hours, with potential increases during busy periods, and may occasionally float to pediatric admission floors. Travelers will be scheduled for weekends as needed, and a minimum of 2 years pediatric ER experience is required. Compensation is approximately $2,011.41 gross weekly, with 36 hours committed per week. No local applicants within 100 miles are considered, and COVID vaccination is mandatory unless medical or religious exemptions are provided.
