Job Description:

This contract opportunity is for a Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse specializing in inpatient adult cardiac care. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including weekend coverage on a rotating basis. The role involves managing patients with serious cardiac conditions such as MI, unstable angina, and complex cardiovascular diagnoses, often requiring advanced interventions like IV antiarrhythmic therapy, vasoactive infusions, and thrombolytic treatments. Expect to perform tasks like cardiac telemetry monitoring, EKG, defibrillation, cardioversion, and thoracentesis. Flexibility to float to similar units or facilities as needed is essential, and previous EPIC experience and certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS are required. This assignment offers a chance to deepen your expertise in a specialized cardiac setting while experiencing a unique environment that keeps you engaged and on your toes.
