Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract places you on the second-floor inpatient overflow unit at Mission Hospital’s Memorial Campus in Asheville, North Carolina. You'll be working 12-hour days on a busy medical-surgical and step-down unit with a mix of short-stay patients and those requiring telemetry monitoring. Your typical shift will involve caring for patients with a patient ratio of approximately 1:5 or 1:6, depending on acuity. Expect to use Cerner EMR and work with telemetry equipment, providing a hands-on experience in a hospital recognized nationally for clinical excellence and patient safety. The role emphasizes teamwork, compassionate patient interaction, and critical thinking in a fast-paced but rewarding environment. The assignment offers a chance to experience a renowned facility with a focus on quality care and innovative procedures.
